RTX 3060 30 fps

I have a 3060 12gb, and an i7-7700k and 12gb of ram but my game runs at like 30-40 fps?
Changing my graphics settings doesn't seem to change my fps.
My gf has a worse PC than mine but she runs it at 60 fps lowest.

CPU is too weak for the 3060, especially in a more CPU intensive game like this.

Game is a real performance hog. You could try using DLSS at low med or low settings. ofc make sure RTX is OFF. If the game even at lowest setting is still below 60. Your specs cant handle it. Sorry.

Cause developers nowadays dont know how to optimize their games and just leave it bloated for pretty effects

your cpu is getting bottlenecked, which usually affects the performance in most games
also this game is somewhat unoptimized so you're not really to blame here

6 year old CPU on a CPU intensive game and the game doesn't run well, must be the game OBVIOUSLY.

There are sliders at the bottom of the graphic settings that are CPU related. Those need to be put near minimum since they are CPU related settings.

Otherwise i would say that this is not Quad Core friendly. Especially not if it is being optimised for the 8 cores on console.

What resolution are you trying to run at?
Are you using Nvidia's frame generation nonsense?
How exactly do you have 12GB of system ram?

They don't seem to be too knowledgeable on computers (which isn't an insult we ALL start somewhere). They mean VRAM, afaik Darktide doesn't have frame-gen, and resolution won't matter because of the CPU they have.

Yeah a lot of people seem to be glossing over the CPU thats 6 years old. For some games it MIGHT not affect them too much with a game that doesn't use the CPU that much but like here Fatshark are notorious for their higher system requirements for CPU because of hordes (which is to be expected because thats just how they handle the game not unoptimised just that it needs it)

There's always the interesting prospect of them having 3 4GB sticks of memory.
