FUN...
FUN...
The endgame is exactly now what it was on launch. You slay hordes of enemies, you get loot and materials, you upgrade your items and slay enemies with said upgraded items. Nothing has changed in that regard. So if you're thinking that it will be a space sim with Factorio building and Minecraft adventuring in there somewhere, you're going to be very disappointed.
RNG…

N Stone
Assail must not be changed before then.

Upgrade them to blue and pray especially since you only get t3 blessings at level 30.
Because good luck getting t4 blessings you want for the gun you want from melk and having to wait 24 hours for each cycle
You just grind the top difficulty to get your best gear (RNG, you need ideal perks/stat distribution), then fully upgrade it, and then... that's it. You're done. You're only playing for fun now.
If you don't mind reaching endgame, finishing your character, and then just continuing to play for fun, it's fine.
If you're looking for a continuous progression system that never ends, there isn't one. You cap your character out very quickly in this, and then it's just... keep spamming the hardest mission. That's it. That's all.
I do that too sometimes, but it's a matter of resources. I have most of the Blessings I want and I have more Melk coins than Plasteel most of the time.
I love Auric Maelstrom.
but personally i play these types of games for the character banter and gameplay
