Nothing Personal but first get the full Talent tree Unlocked and then try again on T5, there you see that 1 psyker with assail already kills everythink faster before you as a Veteran can even shot, if you have 2 psyker with assail, well good luck killing something, you pretty much run after these 2 psyker the rest of the round.
The Problem with Assail is that its Cooldown is too low, its Charges too fast and does too much Damage for some auto-seeking missiles.
As psyker main with some 700h+ in the game with twice as much in VT1+2, it is that broken. Opinions will differ, but at the end of the day, that ability is going to get it, one way or another.
Following that: I do agree the cool down is a bit too fast, If it was slowed down, I think we would see that it isn't all that strong, It would allow people to still use it effectively but have to add more thought to it... 200-300 damage isn't all that powerful in higher diffs like T4-T5.
If we nerf the damage and such, BB will be the only worthwhile choice but it ISN'T worth taking
smite isn't fun.
This is not how my Psyker functioned before. It sucks. When Assail and Void are inevitably nerfed I can finally have my class back and the swarm of Psykers in Auric queue will go away.
