Nerf Assail Psyker

Legitimately just went through half a mission without ever needing to fire my gun or swing my melee weapon because this one psyker could single target and clear with a single low cost ability. I want to be able to play the game, not have one guy do everything for me.

Smite has already been announced to be on the nerf chopping block and Assail will probably follow it, if not be adjusted at the same time.

Also, FS doesn't read the Steam forums much so if you're looking to give feedback, better to go to their forums or Reddit since they're more interactive there.

It will get nerfed, until then I'd recommend just leaving any match when you spot someone with Assail.

It is kinda annoying. I just leave the game if I see that; first round I saw it for the first time and I learned my lessons from VT2 ranged spam. Had another game where someone showed restraint and only did it one or two times, which was nice.

Assail feels like a red flag to me right now, I see people relying on it as a crutch go into auric missions and get dumpstered a lot.
You can be good with it obviously, but I see more bad players using it than good.

assail falls off in damnation, it's just better than the level 250 lasgun you're comparing it against. if it got nerfed it would be useless for the endgame.

It sounds like your group outgrew the difficulty. I suggest playing under high-intensity. I have no problem with Assail. I still manage to do more kills than most of them even with my purgatus or my Voidstaffs with long CD. I just don't play at low difficulties unless I want to rush through my weekly.

This, I've never seen a single complaint about Assail on higher difficulties. Even on lower difficulty the complaint is "You stole my kill."

Yeah this is what I've started doing. Playing with overtuned setups is just obnoxiously boring.
