Everything is clean af, there is no such things as details or anything grimdark in the maps, everything is lazy and feels rushed in this game. Nurgle is not only about zombies, there's not even a nurgling, and you have the model, this is not 40k nurgle it's just another generic zombies shooter.

I think the level design and atmosphere is fine.
Sure it would be nice to have more enemy variety, like OP and Rivet mentioned, for example nurglings.

But if the maps and the environment would be littered with much more infestation, there wouldn't be much point from a lore perspective, to send in random mititia personel.
They would simply purge the freaking planet. :D

My friends, how are they supposed to animate and implement Nurglings? Did you even stop and think for a moment about how overwhelmingly difficult this is? You'd need at least like
20
of them and imagine how stressful that would be on PCs. Even back in the era of the original Xbox we couldn't have swarms of little blobs attacking the players, how could we NOW if we couldn't THEN?

there are varying degrees of corruption, tertium isnt a daemon world, its not even conquered by the heretics yet.

as far as i know we have no idea on the moebian 6th hold on tertium, much less atoma.

not sure if the thread about too little gore (corpses & parts) is still around, but this goes in the same direction... except skaven leave half-eaten bodies behind for sh*ts n giggles and poxwalkers do not... which is possible.

A lot of people seem to be missing how young this infection is.

This isnt a demon world, or a planet thoroughly conquered by a cult with time for the warp-corruption to seep in and rituals to be conducted.
The train incident in the intro seems to have been basically the start of the outbreak in the city (though that other hive might be an entirely different story) and the combination of the cult and the traitor guard still have only taken small parts of the hive, while others are still in full production.

Frankly there being any demonic activity at all is a MASSIVE question mark, let alone the little flesh gardens etc.
