Curio Blessing %Health, % Toughness, Wounds or Stamina?
Whats the best Curio Blessing, I assumed everyone was stacking toughness but looks like a lot more variety than i thought. Whats your reasoning?

Mine is, biggest threat has been receiving too much damage, toughness only pool that restores and has feats/talents/weapon blessings to restore it faster so stack toughness above all else every character. Have not had much issue with corruption build up or downs.

Perks also seem obvious to me but.. maybe otherwise
5%Toughness
5%Health
20%Gunner Resist or 4% Ability CD
Would be the dream.

i mean if someone was REALLY bad at keeping toughness up, it could be good

The simple answer is Health for Ogryn since they have double health. Also curios offer larger Health bonuses than the standard Toughness bonus. Also some things can cut through toughness. Nice to have someone on the team who can survive the hit at least once.

I go Toughness for most others since it naturally regenerates and there are feats to GREATLY increase the regeneration rate.

Veteran can make good use of toughness bonuses, all others get more from health since on higher difficulty you either have toughness or you don't.

I prefer health on my psyker. With 200+ I don't have to worry about being instantly killed if I find myself stuck in fire, or stopped in my tracks by ranged.

If you don't have 100% toughness, you take split melee damage with health. If you're at 90 toughness, you take 10% damage as health. 50 toughness is a 50/50 split. Anyone fighting in melee a lot needs HP more than Toughness because of this.

There is also the fact that corruption, from grims or otherwise, is a flat amount of HP. If you stack a bunch of HP, you can have less percent of it as corruption damage. This can save you a wound and give you some leeway if/when you take melee damage.

I wanna add to that that "corruption resist" does not work for grimoires and "corruption resist (grimoires)" does not work at all, so yeah health is the way to go if you want less corruption.

vet 2 health 1 tough
rest 3 health

If your really good at melee though, does not the toughness gives a larger absorb pool to work with and regenerate through out the game. Range seems to be the biggest threat IMO

As well many talents/feats to restore % of total toughness

Good point on Vets. They have some good toughness feats.

For Zealots, with purge the wicked giving you two chastise the wicked you can restore half your toughness almost at will, get a crit bonus and that sweet AP for ranged weapons plus the move bonus to get in to and out of trouble. Took an autogun last run and I was dropping Ogryn like no tomorrow. Plus why add health when you get bonuses for not having any health?

Some people don't get downed frequently, you know

Because the bonus you add via curios is usually about 19-20 toughness per item and that is when you also use the extra +4% toughness, while you get double that in health with up to 48 health per curio. Also the extra 15% damage applies already at just over half hp left and the other two feats on tier 5 are better than another 15% damage (one gives 15-25% bonus ranged dmg, the other gives easy 12-20% melee damage). So it's usually not very useful to get such limited extra toughness. If you don't care for health you might as well run extra wounds and stamina stacks.

Zealots benefit greatly from more toughness since you actually want to take health damage for the Martydon bonuses, other classes I go 2 Health and 1 Wound with a 5% health bonus if possible

Oh you're one of those that only gets downed once and is then useless because they cannot be picked up again?
I like to take mixed things. Toughness is good, it mean how much you can be shot untill you start losing hp.
Also in melee most important is if you have 100% or less. And the less damage you got to toughness, the faster you can recover it and get protectionf from next occasional hit.

While health and wounds good for missions with grims, it both hel you not become one-shot target in time.

Usually I dont lose health through messinons, and only spend it if things go really wrong. Can finish some 4th as ogryn without any med sation used or as zealot as only survivior from all team several times
