Can an Ogryn breed with a human?
Has that ever happened in lore? Could probably make some elite soldiers out of their children.

So. The Imperium of MANkind are rly rly racist. The Ogryns are „Lucky“ allowed to live cause they are usefull.

There is no official Information on inbreeding between ogryns and humans.

I will call the inquisition for this question.

Basically the environmental conditions that resulted in Ogryns were a happy accident and the Imperial Guard wants to do everything they possibly can to not ruin a good thing.

Especially since a lot of Ogryn sub-species has gone extinct recently.

No they can't. The Aeldari and Human physiology + biology are completely and utterly different, regardless of their outward appearances of humanoid likeness (the big giveaway is that the Pariah Gene for Psyker power is foreign to the Human Genome of 40k, it was introduced by the Emperor's machinations—it's underdeveloped, as he never got to finish his work, thus leaving evolution to perfect it). Whatever fanfics you've read, they're wrong. Any "canon" was overruled. The Aeldari are Aliens, despite that they are pretty much Fantasy High Elves in Space.

And why in the F is this even a question-- Eh... nevermind. I guess someone is bound to ask it.

Show me an ogryn female and I'll show you a valiant attempt
ogryn have only been away from normal humans for like 20k years. a human from 20k years ago would be able to reproduce with a modern human but the people 20k years ago were also entirely identical with modern humans. they werent weirdo giants. so probably not.

Ogryns are human themselves so I assume the answer is yes but the real question would be why and how.
