But... I didn't get either from the rng shop. So I'm just gonna assume they're not worth opening the game again for. Thank goodness they added all this stupid rng so I don't play their game.
It pumps up the damage of the first light attack up to the damage of the bully club heavy 1.
Yet the BC heavy 1 comes out way faster, is cancelable so you can put out even more heavies in quicker succession and even staggers everything (except mutants and bosses, crushers take 2 hits and ragers wont get staggered in their combo). so you pretty much stagger lock most enemies.
The PM is decent with hordes but is more about stagger, which, I rather prefer the knife that absolutely shreds a horde than having this strange weapon.
The power-up even loweres your horde damage as the stagger from the explosion will knock stuff out of your hitbox.
Its a useable weapon, but its certainly not a good weapon. You have a way better time to just focus on damage with the club, or tanking with the shield or shredding hordes with that one knife.
The powermaul should have been the weapon that absolutely shreds single targets as besides the BC you pretty much have meh single target damage on all other melees.
But hey, maybe in patch soon(TM) they buff it a little.
Sienna mace without Heavy 1. Single target damage on light 1 and 2, light 3 & 4 have a convenience to loop. You may use push attack to get into the horde control sooner. Both heavies have good stagger and CC. Knife Through Butter with weapon special can open up even the most dense hordes unparalleled horde control as Ogryn provides.
The Power Output stat determines (Power when using weapon special on light and heavy, Blast radius, Epicentre radius, Area suppression radius, and Area Suppression). In using the weapon special I've seen some gunners fret and take cover.
It only needs a faster special start time, movement, and to not disable the damn thing after charging.
Man it feels like all the weapons just play the same, or when there is a distinct difference, they're not built to make them viable/fun. What the hell is going on over there at FS HQ? DOn't mean to bithc but nothing felt great before. Sounds like even less feels good now.
Every single heavy attack deals +60% Power. Nothing compares to this. I can kill a DAMNATION CRUSHER in 3 heavy attacks, only.
Power Maul is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
