Midway through a mission, my eyes start feeling weird, by the end of the mission they are sore.
The blur has got to go, or be restricted to the sides of the screen. The flashing blue lights are just over the top, even for people without sensitivity.
I thought the screen was much blurrier/lightninger than normal.
I don't have epilepsy, motion sickness, or photosensitivity, and the new VFX hurt my eyes.
You may understand what I say almost means.
This.
Every video game comes with epilepsy warnings. There's a reason epileptic people shouldn't be playing certain types of video games.
If you aren't a Psyker player who's used the new Surge Staff, you really don't need to be commenting on this.
The new VFX cause the entire screen to go blurry with bright, flashing blue lights. It hurts the eyes.
It is NOT just about people with sensitivities.
I can still play 99% games, even idk, a borderlands boss where all kinds of lights and effects happen. Its about the intensity / k's of the light.
I stopped playing Aliens Fireteam Elite as it was very dark with crazy flashy gun muzzle lights.
Devs even patched it on a couple of weapons, like a gatling. But still left some high flashy weapons, and while not unbeatable, the eye strain was too much.
So yeah, kinda concerned about this.
If you ask me, they didnt even have a right to modify this. Fix previous bugs, add content...but rework something like this after release? Without testing? With non photosensitive people complaining in half a dozen threads hours after patch??
As a Psyker main I can assure you that yeah it's an eye sore but by god don't be so dramatic lol
Just keep reporting if you feel similar, so they can know if this is impacting few players or hopefuly, most of them
Are you trying to convince us our eyes don't hurt?
The purgatus staff has a similar effect when charging, but not so crazy. Still in the meat grinder you see how all lights go mad when charging it, from reflections to those bright rune like inscriptions around the meat grinder circumference. Not enjoyable no
