I think that would need an Xbox Series XXL considering how expensive of a visual effect split-screen is.

Nope, and I'm pretty sure the Xbox Series consoles wouldn't be able to handle it. To quote myself:

To further add to this, even high end PCs have a bit of troubles running this on one screeen
