No. The NDA talks about not giving out any information to people that aren't part of the technical test.

Nope if they was to catch you doing you would be removed from all testing pools

But how could they possibly know if you are in a private discord server?

Most modern games are able to detect when the client is streaming, recording or taking a screenshot. Between things like discord overlays, anticheat software that checks for background programs and streamer modes that automatically turn themselves on, I imagine Fatshark wouldn't have a hard time figuring it out and flagging anyone breaking their NDA.

The only way you could get away with such a thing is if you're friends litterly walk into your room during the test lol

Maybe, still against the nda, likely somewhere on thr screen with be a code to identify you and still run the risk of someone uploading and getting you removed from all testing

AFAIK, that's how most technical tests work. A code in a hard to blur area of the screen (like the center). I doubt they have the ability to detect screenshots and videos.

After almost 2000h playtime in Vermintide i am pretty sure they wont do something like this. Way too complicated or too much work. For Example. In Vermintide2 it took at least 6 month to balance the game. Or when they release new classes. Sister of the Thorn was funny. A supporter that was a weapon of mass destruction.
They are slow, have no clue and stuff takes ages. I love their games but in speed and "knowing your own game" i dont trust them.

holy moly dude, chill. youre complaining left and right in other threads about not getting in. im bummed i didnt but im not gonna complain everywhere about it. the game will come out with betas and whatnot when theyre ready, apply then. youve already ignored the reply in another forum where hedge explicity explained exactly why they chose who they did, so i suggest you go find and read that instead of flaming everywhere.

Already read it.

They opened pre-orders, then less than a month later delayed the game after going radio silent. Don't open pre-orders unless you've got a date nailed down. That's just scummy.

Then they can't even give priority for the beta to those who pre-ordered? Also scummy.

But this is the gaming industry, and gamers being gamers generally tend to be okay with that kind of thing. Being a 'real' gamer means taking the piss from gaming execs, otherwise you're deemed 'entitled.'

It is the only industry where paying customers have little to no recourse, and no rights whatsoever. Blizzard literally released "mobile gambling" in the form of D-Immortal, and because it comes in the form of a game, it's not regulated as gambling. The gaming industry, and most of its consumer base (who enable this), is a cesspool.

It is what it is.

hey they the passion of hexagoros is to be admired. this is an imperial fist and his battle brothers went off to fight and he can't do anything while there were heretics to be killed. he is just scrimshawing. he just needs some time in the pain glove to cool off and work it out.

no its not gambling as it has a skill based check before you get the reward, much like claw games get around it just with extra steps, still its a rather sucky thing to do

i am fairly sure where they released the pre-order they was thinking they would make the release date, now something has happened it clear the game is not at the point where it could be released in 5 weeks, you keep talking about how games this and real gamers that, how about you have some respect for yourself and just step way from the game and these forums for a while, next test will likely have different people, which you might get into and clearly they want to have a beta for the people that pre-ordered, one that looks like progress might carry over, but jumping on the steam forums to complain you paid money so ever tho you cant help them test what the test is for you should get to play (or try to play)
