Question About Solo Play with Bots

I’m considering getting Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, but I mainly enjoy playing solo. I’ve heard mixed things about solo play and wanted to clarify: is it possible to play the game entirely on my own with bots?

I’ve played similar games like Vermintide, which had more offline-friendly options, so I’m curious if Darktide offers anything similar. Can anyone share their experience with solo play? Is it fun and viable, or does it feel limited compared to co-op?

There is no solo with bots. You can use mods to get around this but that's about it.

You should be able to do so with Many More Trys mod but cant confirm as nexus is down for me atm.

You don't have to be afraid of people, this game isn't like Vermintide where you have to play on Legend Or Cata to get loot, you can play on the difficulty you find suited to you and still get the best stuff.

it's not that. ADHD brain sometimes shuts off mid game. so I don't like playing with people because I may randomly leave

You may play solo but with mods. Solo is super meh compared to coop and at higher difficulties bots are worse compared to even worst randoms. VT2 had a bit better maps imo (the look) while most DT maps look kinda the same. So, like, while messing around solo in VT2 you could at least enjoy the view.

If you have ADHD like me I may suggest you to put weapon swap macro and vibe during section changes with other dudes. Also you can always scream for the emperor.

Then randomly leave. You won't get punished for it in any way.

that's not how ADHD brain works, they will probably think about it all day until they either play again or something more urgent takes up the space in their head.

It's like after a while my brain stops and I can't play a game anymore I feel bored or overwhelmed. So I leave randomly

Then leave. Again, there is no penalty and games usually fill up instantly when someone leaves. It's not a problem, nobody cares.
