Best stats to dump?
Which stats are the best to dump?
Which should always be maxed?

Depends on the weapon.

But generally the most important stats are those who buff damage (in)directly such as damage stat itself, penetration and finesse.

Mobility is considered a dump stat in most cases

60% mobility or defense, 80% everything else usually.

Depends on a weapon and personal choices? I like mobility cuz I wanna be FAST, for example.

Barring a couple of exceptions on melee weapons it's mobility and defence, although they still need to be 51%+ to get max dodges.

Ranged weapons it's basically always mobility (51%) or collateral.

For Psyker force staves, it's normally warp resistance as the dump.

Damage is useless without stats like penetration, shredder, stopping power, colateral or critical bonus. 50% damage with 80% penetration is beter than 80% damage with 50% penetration.

That's what this person said though. Damage stat and the stats that boost it should be the high ones. I personally think shredder can be a dump stat though since you don't use it very often since it pretty much sticks you in place. Outside of monstrosities and crushers, shredder will kill pretty much anything. If it doesn't, then you do a light attack after and it's pretty much dead. Though maybe you use shredder more than I do and have better builds for using it.

Also, mobility is important only on weapons with high movement speed and low stamina cost. Knife, tactical axe, laspistol, revolver.

If you bring chain weapons just to deal with armour - shredder is important. But in general its not that good, yes.

That's fair. Shredder vs. armour is absolutely a solid way to go. Maybe I'll have two chainswords depending on the build I go with.
