What does "50% Weapon Wield Speed" mean? What exactly does it increase?

Basic answer is weapon swap/ready speed. There are other different hidden modifiers on weapons that affect how quickly you can swap to a weapon after performing a certain action and how quickly you can perform different actions after swapping to a weapon (like blocking light attack heavy attack etc). What all it affects exactly I don’t know.
