Also, as others already mentioned, I just don't see it fitting for Vet and especially Zealot characters. I always saw them as rough and the ones who prefer brute power. What will be next, Psyker with heavy eviscerator? :)
While it certainly is fun to use and effective, it didn't really make Zealot do something Zealot didn't already do. Zealot has always been a beefy front liner who excels at taking down elites and specials while diving deep into the horde. The main thing it added to the kit over all was a more mobile option that still has great range.
With psykers getting melee traits (and giving the thing to Zealot), it's gonna get the nerf bat.
Why its on the Fanatic is anyone's guess. They're about as far from finesse as it gets.
I receive enough ogryn weapons to give us as many options as the other classes.
I cannot lie. I am a player who has coming up 700 hours in game with all 4 classes at lvl 30 and all played regularly at end game. My Psyker has been a Gun Psyker with a Dueling sword 4 and I have loved it. However since the latest patch making all weapons available on all classes apart from Staves and Ogryn's I ave been playing my Zealot as Dueling Sword instead and I absolutely love it! I change between a Zarona or a Vraks IAG that used to be a Columnus IAG and both are incredible.
I had been used to pulling off clutch saves before bu since I have been playing this I am almost unstoppable and have saved several runs that would have been impossible as my team mates might as well have not existed and were worse than bots! It feels like the update has brought many players back who haven't played in a long time and as such are really bad and need to e HARD carried. Not a problem for my new Deuling Sword Zealot!
I am using +10% Melee weak spot damage and +10% Melee critical hit damage as perks and Rampage and Shred as Blessings on Blazing Piety. Rampage is incredible for horde clearing & I have thought about swapping out Shred for Agile or Riposte but I find that Shred is incredible with BP node Fury Rising if your BP stacks have fallen off in getting them back up fast. This build and weapon allows for almost constant up-time on invocation of death and this massively reduces the long cool-down on Chorus (60 seconds base CD) and allows it to be used a LOT. Rampage is incredible for horde clearing.
This massively reduced CD and 3x Stun grenades makes pulling of saves easy and something that can be done time and time again.
These are the 2 version I am playing atm Zarona and IAG:
Zarona:

IAG

EDIT - I just realised i accidentally selected +25% carapace damageon the IAG in the build editor when I do not use this and instead it should have been +25% Unyielding damage.
From what I'm seeing on the scoreboard, it is able to keep up with the other powerful weapons on damage and kills just fine. Definitely more than just viable now, its very much in the strong category, and possibly even one of if not the best, as alongside its all the other advantages it can melt bosses in a way no other weapon can.
