Upcoming Zealot Change
Invocation of Death is being changed from -1.5 second CD reduction on crit to 175% increase to CD speed for 4s. While I understand that the flat seconds off can be abused for infinite ability spam and is a little broken, I feel like this is going to be massive change. And as usual, feels like a bit of an over correction.

On the other hand, this will make it more consistent for small engagements or builds that arent getting enough crits, but I think thats more of a build issue than an issue with the talent.

This is a good change that makes IOD/Blazing Piety more balanced and viable across all melee weapons. The current problem with IOD is that it only scales with attack speed. This makes taking IOD and Blazing Piety with heavier weapons a very subpar choice compared to the combination of Inexorable Judgment and Pious Cutthroat. Presuming that my math is correct, this change to IOD will basically make it so that every melee weapon can drop the cooldown of FOF from 30 seconds down to the 10-15 second range presuming that you have specced crit and keep a nearly constant uptime on IOD. It's going to work out to being a big zealot buff.

I agree with this side of it, it will make the talent build more viable across more weapons. But it does bring down quite a few weapons as well. The weapons that benefit the most from it right now are high cleaving weapons against hordes, or fast single target/lower cleave weapons. 1 swing cleaving through everything procs IOD multiple times and that functionality will be gone entirely for all weapons.

Completely removing the cleave scaling is kinda rough for a lot of builds I think. Reducing it is fine cause it is kinda broken when 1 or 2 light attacks completely resets the CD. Most weapons are still capable of cleaving 3-5 enemies in a horde no problem. Even if you have a low crit chance of like 50% that is still 3-4 seconds off the cd on average per swing, paired with normal CD reducing it over time.

I have a few builds that really leaned into multi procs of IOD and those are going to suffer for sure. Being able to change up weapons more doesn't seem like a great trade off. It feels like it is going from a talent that is really important to builds that rewards you for building around it to just a generic talent.
