Check Display Connections:
Ensure your monitor is physically connected to the GPU (graphics card) and not to the motherboard’s display port (if you have a desktop setup).
Set Default GPU:
Go to your Windows Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings.
Choose the game executable and assign it to use the High-performance GPU (your AMD Radeon Graphics). Restart the game afterward.
Open AMD Radeon Software (or Adrenalin).
Go to Graphics > Advanced Settings and set Darktide to use the dedicated AMD GPU (High Performance).
If you’re using Windows 10/11, also go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics Settings and assign the game to use the High-performance GPU.
Update GPU Drivers:
Open the AMD Radeon Software (or go to AMD’s website), and check for the latest driver updates for your graphics card. Installing the latest drivers can often resolve detection issues.
Verify Game Files:
If you’re using a game platform like Steam or Epic Games, right-click on the game in your library, go to Properties > Local Files (or equivalent), and select Verify integrity of game files to check for any corrupted files.
Configure AMD Settings:
Open the AMD Radeon Software and look for game-specific settings that might force the game to use the AMD GPU, especially if you also have an integrated GPU (common in laptops).
Disable Integrated Graphics (if you have dual GPUs):
Go to Device Manager and disable the integrated graphics if you have both an AMD and an integrated GPU (like Intel), which will force the system to only use the AMD card.
Restart:
After adjusting the settings, restart your PC to apply the changes fully.
You have to uninstall the graphics drivers of the GPU you are no longer using. You should use a software called DDU for this.
