I don't use any mods.

This happened with the last patch, and it was a full 3 hours of wasted time trying to fix it. Verified from the launcher, verified from steam, verified from launcher, verified from steam, game wouldn't launch.

Just a full-on reinstall did it.

Doing a clean install seemed to fix it for the poster. Did you do a clean install or just delete and reinstall of the game?

Previous patch during October/November, I had to do a full clean install, each time, and it's still rage inducing.

And yeah I did a full clean reinstall like that stupid link they have in regards to deleting the Roaming folder.

If Fatshark support sends me another AI generated BS link instruction I am going to throw a chair.


I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO A FULL CLEAN INSTALL EACH TIME FATSHARK LAUNCHES A NEW PATCH FOR THEIR GAME.

i never had this issue, but when the game has issues i reinstall GPU driver this always fixes it, i just guess once it starts crashing it borkes the GPU driver

I've actually used that each time just to clear any doubts if its something wrong or not, and each time it hasn't really found anything.

The game is just horrendously optimized.

Cases like this I use revo uninstaller. It find any files and registry entries after uninstalling software. This gives fresh start on any application you wish to reinstall.
