I just checked that mod and...dam! People can make some miracles sometimes!
I think i'll pass for now if there isn't any other alternatives to the Potato Mod, if there is any mods that allow the use of DIrectX 11 I can run the game on low setting no problem.
I started playing the pre-ordered beta on the I7-3770K (previous was i5-3540), the top version of the processor on my old LGA 1155 system, replacing the GTX 1650 4GB with the RTX2060 12GB, although the processor was a bottleneck for it, but it allowed me to enter DLSS technologies on a budget, there was no talk of RTX. The game worked fine on medium settings (higher textures, lower shadows) 1080 with DLSS.
Then on Aliexpress, when the dollar exchange rate fell, I bought a motherboard kit with a 12400F processor, everything became more interesting: I replaced the HDD with an SSD, after some time I replaced the RTX 2060 12GB with a RTX 3060 12GB refab, sold the first one, now new 4070 12GB according to the same scheme.
You can go the potato route, but you can also choose the upgrade route.
It's more difficult with laptops, no doubt
