4500 Penance Points? How long does that usually take?

I'm just curious about how long you actually need to put in to get that. I've got about 500 hours in and 2200 points, and while I think the Moebian 6th Cosmetics are pretty cool, unless things change, I doubt I'm going to put in another 500 hours just to max out penance points. Exclusively Auric-Runs? Max out and get all penances for all character classes? Just curious, because outwardly, it seems like a lot.

I have about half your hours and I've got about 2600, almost 2700. My friend who has about 100 hours is close to 2000, maybe over it by now. I'd say it depends on how much you commit to getting them done. Sometimes, you can knock out multiple in one mission, but I feel you could do it in another 150-200 hours if you commit to doing the penances.

Appreciate it! Yeah that was my problem, I only really cared about Penances for Veteran/Sharpshooter that gave cosmetics and then took whatever came after that as it happened, wasn't really hunting for them on other classes or anything.

I've never "chased" any of those, by just normal play I'm at around 3800.
My playtime is 1300+ , I seldom do Auric, about 10% of runs.

You probably unlocked a ton of them since you get rewarded retroactively. When the update dropped, I started at like 1800. Most of the penances are "just play the game" basically, so you being that high makes a lot of sense.

Oh yeah, I have all 4 classes that I rotate after every round or two. Definitely makes leveling up a lot faster.

I'm at about 650 hours and 3600 penance points. Pretty sure you have to play all the classes and the easy ones whittle away until you're left with the most difficult ones. It looks like some of the penances started from scratch after they created the new system, even though I should have had progress in them before then. A lot of them are just going to take time and there's nothing you can do but play, like the mission completion ones.

Took me roundabout 800 hours for reaching 4500 but i was over 400 hours before the update came. When it arrived i had a penance score of about 1900. I have played much since the penance update. So i would say if you try hard you can reach it in 400 hours maybe less. Depends also on skill and luck. But i would recommend you to find a team for some penances. With randoms it will take you ages. You can skip the penances where it is obliged to do them in private. If you dont care about what you will get for rewards you will have it easier. I am at the moment at 4900 but i dont care about the score anymore.

I think Bitcoin Barry thought that you were saying, "thanks for this answer, but it's not the question I asked." Which comes off as "Why give me the answer to a question I didn't ask?", so Bitcoin Barry replied to that tone, explaining why he did that answer for you and anyone reading the comments, wondering why he did answer the question like that. There isn't any venom being spat by either of y'all. We are just on the internet where negative posting is frequent, so people are constantly defending themselves.

Based on what I see, you had it at 5,000, BCB said it was capped at 4935, and you changed that respectively. You thanked him with an "appreciate it." and then had a follow up question about the 4500 mark. I think asking it with the words "still" and "though" make it sound like you originally asked for 4500 and BCB gave you a random answer of the cap. Just some misconstrued tones from what I can tell.

It was more of a "Thanks for the answer, I was wrong about what the cap was, I updated it accordingly. Question still stands, though." I'm the guy who originally asked, not the guy who said the cap was wrong haha. The "How would I know when the answer is not attainable" with a response quote struck me as...kinda pissy, seeing as I never took exception or anything with his answer other than making the edits accordingly.
