Is there any way of turning off the crash report mechanism?

CrashTide crashes an AWFUL fracking lot. Luckily for me, I have the Reconnect mod that lets me back into the mission once I restart the game.

But my main issue, other than crashing itself, is the long fracking wait for FS's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "oh you've crashed, here lets make you wait for a while so we can take our time and try to get a crash report tool starting up"

Is there any way of turning that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying thing off? I dont give a ♥♥♥♥ and I'm not sending a crash report as they'll just say "your game is modded...murr murr, dont play mods"

But the crashes I get is the "not enough memory" crash, despite having 64gb

Yes, there's a way to turn it off. Stop playing the game and you will never see it again. If you find that solution too radical, you can compromise for the middle ground of not cheating using mods anymore, particularly the dubious ones that are likely causing the crash. Do you by any chance run around Tertium in your bottoms spamming 'vacuum capsule' once every 2 seconds?

Have you considered checking the crash logs so you might actually find out what's happening? Also, yea I have a far weaker system than you with no Out of Memory. No mods. So for you...it's probably the mods. You really should check those crash logs. However given your cheekiness with the initial post and subsequent response I'm going to let you figure out that part, have fun!

Edit the launcher.config file in AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide folder and put 'SendCrashReports = false'

You can also make the file Read Only so it can't be changed during an update.

Looks like the MODS stepped in and schooled you by locking your necro. You posted all that negative stuff too which shows who you are and your attitude to being rude/polite.

Well done - you managed to get yourself banned. I am not surprised with your unpleasant and childish attitude. The fact you are banned suggests this is not your first time acting this way as I believe you get warned before you get banned and so you must have failed to heed the warnings!

I have never used a single mod and am crashing every three to four missions. Can you please smartass around what i do wrong, too?

On a sidenote i wouldn't mind deactivating the crash reporter, too.

You are having a different issue than the op, create a new thread for it. However much like we tried to warn the op: don't be rude about it or you'll simply be derided and ignored.

And much like the op I see this pattern continues. See I actually do come too this forum to help people with problems, and there's a good chance I can at least help diagnose yours. However, I'm not a fan of rudeness.
