Did they change Veteran Power Sword MK VI
Did they change this weapons action set? it now goes on to overhead move set after second charge instead of repeating horde clear move set. This sucks btw as it limits horde clear ability of the weapon.

A patch near the beginning of the year did this. It's a nerf to horde clear, dressed up as a 'buff to enjoyment of the weapon type!'. And yes, it sucks.

Can you not just block-cancel? As in: heavy 1 -> heavy 2 -> block for a split second -> heavy 1 -> heavy 2 -> block for a split second -> repeat.

Dodge + recharge power sword on the same time.

Just block cancel the charge animation. It's what you're supposed to do anyways, makes the animation faster and you get some block frames during the animation. Plus it resets your combo.

thats not what Im talking about, after charging and block cancelling when the first 3 light attacks are depleted; it starts the moveset that begins from left strike and then proceeds with overhead.

I don't use heavy attacks as they have same cleave and I use weakspot talent which has near endless cleave if I head shot. The second move set is really killing the weapon though. Unlucky!

If you're going to use a power sword, you use the Mk3.

There is no point in using the other one.

Munitorum Mk VI Power Sword
The new activation will chain into the second light attack or a new heavy that mirrors the first heavy diagonally down attack.

Actually this. :steamthis:

I wonder what's the point of mark 6 when it's inferior to mark 3 in every way...

Can you 2-shot a Crusher with a Mk3 like you do with a Mk6? :steamsalty:

tap block just after you start the charge animation to reset the combo and do the first 3 light attacks every time.

If you accidentally push first before attacking it will do the moveset that has the 3rd attack as a strikedown. So if you find yourself accidentally pushing first you are holding down block too long. just tap it, it doesn't add any extra time onto the charge animation.

it does better single target damage with its push attack light attack combo and has innate block cost reduction.

This i didn't know. Thanks for the info. But still its moveset feels so awkward and clunky to me in comparison with the smoothness and versatility of mk 3.
