Darktide crashes my entire PC after last update

[SSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNDDWWRRYYYYY]

I played Darktide since launch and met most problems others encountered over the years. However since the last update, the game will start to have its audio cut out and then the game will crash and make my entire PC crash with it. This results in a freeze on the last game frame and my PC led going solid white. No other choice than to force restart the PC since it won't answer to any keyboard input.

No sure if it's actually related but this only happened so far when I played my psyker (flamer psyker), which of course is my favorite class and the one I play the most.

Never had anything like that before. Also Darktide is the ONLY game that ever made my PC crash.

I was starting to get concerned, 2 crashes already.. it was like that before update though, but this is a record, having those a lot.. did you used mods in the past?.... did you also got the steam integrity file check pop up?...

I never modded Darktide.
RTX are off of course.
I had the steam integrity pop up after the second crash. Nothing to report.
It's now the third crash.

For now I'm giving up on Darktide until they fix their ♥♥♥♥. I played more than 400 hours without problems. I won't change anything on my side. It's Fatshark's work to patch this serious issue.

I'm not that concerned tho. Like most of steam players I'll just have the time of my life on Helldivers 2 until Darktide becomes playable again.

A perfect reason to quit using a weapon that lowers fps and visibility for everyone in your team.

Double check, just in case your video setting were changed. Have you recently changed your GPU drivers?

Never saw anyone complaining about my flames, quite the opposite actually.

I didn't change anything drivers related since the last time I played, which was something like 2 months ago, maybe more.

now crashing every mission, end transition to end-log screen... can't play, it's def not on our end then. NEEDS HOTFIX ASAP!.

Experiencing random crashes since update. Can't play more than 3 missions in a row without a crashing to desktop. It causes AMD's Adrenaline to crash as well.
Never had this issue pre-update. Kind of disheartening to crash on a mission load, and it breaks the play 5 Auric Malstrum missions in a row penance. I've been trying for the last few days, but the crashing is pretty annoying.

The recent update is complete ass. Terrible performance all of a sudden! It's like if raytracing was enabled, even though it isn't.

I'm not the only one reporting this issue by the way.

tell yourself whatever you want but it's not the game. Unstable overclocks and bad RAM timings cause those kinds of crashes

I get crashes every time I try the special assignment to kill the twins, loading in and out of that mission makes my entire game freeze for 15-20 seconds and then crash

apparently everyone crashing is unstable overclocks or bad ram timings tho lol. definitely can't be the latest patch causing it. when most of us were playing the same exact game with the same exact hardware fine before this patch with no crashes.

Don't know friend, I just know I wasn't getting crashes at all before, could go for 4-5hrs straight without a crash and now it's crashing, not OC'd and ram is pretty new, only 4 months at 32gb 5200mghz DDR5

Everyone talking about bad ram timing and other stuff causing it are talking out their butt, like anyone can be sure. What I can tell you though is that I played 2 games last night at an average of 30fps ( normally in the 50's pre patch) on my Sapphire Technology AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT Pulse Dual Fan 12GB. While loading for a 3rd match my computer crashed for the first time since I built it in August. Upon restart my AMD sapphire no longer works and is a useless brick. Thank God it's still under warranty but this game 100% just ruined my card.

So games can cause hardware failures as well as hard crashes now? OK LOL
