Same BS we had with the veteran ability highlighting "all" shooters, but worse.
Original Eviscerator's first heavy attack is horizontal swing that can decapitate multiple enemies at the same time if you don't just swing it mindlessly. Ironhelm Thunder Hammer's charged attack will usually kill 3 enemies at least with a full heavy attack charge. Or just play with knife normally, the mark 6 has more aoe on heavy hits and might kill more than 1 enemy.
Also if you're using stealth and Backstabber talent, you should attack enemies in the back as much as possible. Stealth gives you backstab damage multiplier and some weapons will kill enemies more effectively in the back than if you hit weakspot (because in real games targets move a lot and sometimes headshot don't register properly). \
Also use PIous Cutthroat talent for more ult charges -> more stealth attacks.
Meanwhile EVERY other part of the game encourages you and your teammates to stick together.
Personally I took it as a nice learning moment for those backstabs in general. They're pretty finnicky after all.
Could be improved by either dropping the backstab requirement, or dropping the range unit requirement. If FS chose either, they would probably need to up the number of kills a bit.
True. "Onslaught" is way more grindy and way less fun.
As a tip for anyone doing that penance:
Ranged weapons spacial melee attacks always count as heavy attacks.
So to do this a bit more quickly, take you Ripper and go staby-staby in hordes.
The Penance tries to teach you how to play Zealot's right tree.
As a Zealot you have the capability to disappear from coherency, skip ranged combat, and round up shooters in melee. Doing backstabs recharges your Ability so you can land devastating blows to high priority targets more often.
As a Zealot you'll need to learn when to strategically leave coherency for the better of the team. You'll draw a lot of attention to yourself, which means less oppression against the team, and that's the real benefit.
