How to "Dodge 500 shots form Ripper while sprinting"?
In last 4 weeks i made ZERO progress on something so simple. I do not understand how it is counted.

how it works: when you are above 50% stamina while sprinting you will count as dodging for the purposes of damage mitigation vs. toughness

this only works when moving away from ranged enemies at a diagonal or perpendicular angle; you cannot sprint directly towards or away from them, but it is not super picky about the correct movement otherwise.

it is easiest on a zealot with the 'swift certainty' talent at the bottom of the right side, as this negates the stamina requirement for dodge-sprinting vs. ranged enemies

it is almost as easy on a veteran with the 'duck and dive' talent, as long as enemies are shooting at you, you will end up recovering stamina a lot faster than you are using it

i am not 100% sure if power-sliding counts the same way, but i'm reasonably confident that any shots mitigated while sliding do not count towards the 500 shots you must dodge

Shouldn't be anything special about this one. Reapers - the enemy ogryn gunners - and sprinting - so your stamina goes down.

It should count up pretty quickly.

Only problem for me was my team killing them on sight most of the time

Got that one pretty quickly (like 2 to 3 days) in the "mostly ranged enemies" Auric Maelstrom missions.

1) find reaper
2) make him shoot at you
3) sprint using zig-zag movement
4) ???
5) PROFIT

Just make sure you have lots of stamina, and then sprint in circles inside his cone of fire. Slide out when stamina runs low, wait for it to recharge and repeat.

It's the derpiest way to do this penance but it works. 👍

Aren't you sprinting while you slide and always sliding when a reaper is shooting at you?

Reading this thread makes me understand how some of you still have issues dodging basic gunners.
