The Ogryn gun luggger is so frustrating

At Auric + mobility and sustain are so important. The gunlugger is the oppoiste of that.

Ive been playing with builds and trying to get something to work but its frustrating more than anything

It wants to be the heavy from TF2

Weapon switching is very slow
Accuracy is a bit so so depending on the weapon.
If you go gunlugger your survival feels quite low when you run out of ammo and go melee

Was trying the lucky bullets and that seems a good idea but never feels impactful.

I love the Ripper and tried it with the ripper which does seem pretty cool but again its a bit situational

Anyone got some builds?

Bully club with the toughness and brittle blessings.
Damage to flak is always a plus after that it's kinda up to you what you need it to do.

I use Kickback with Surgical and Full Bore on my orgyn. Works like a charm really. For melee take anything which deal with hordes effectively, like Bull Butcher MkIII.

What? I've seen people use the light em up stubber to literally face tank a daemonhost to death. While getting hit by shotgunners. Are you sure you're not speccing toughness over HP? This is a common skill issue, like the ogrynomicon thinks this is a good idea too. No, ogryn's freedom from hitstuns ends when his toughness does, as well as his almost 40% passive damage reduction just for being an ogryn.

For my Gun Lugger build I use Achlys Stubber and Basher or Bull Butcher with Confident Strikes.

I think Gun Lugger feels kinda terrible with Rippers.

I second the post above. Gun Lugger only feels good with Achlys Stubber currently.

Then whatever melee choice you want but something with Confident Strike works best at the very least.

Hoping they add more melee/guns to Ogryn's kit because everything is stale right now or only works sub-optimally with current build iterations.

I don't think any pure Gunlugger build works to be honest. I did come up with two variants that seemed to do good however.

The Achylys stubber build that goes down the right-hand tree and then specs into tankgryn Keystone in the middle. Go cleaver to clear out hordes or bully club 1 so you have something to deal with armour.

A Gorgonum stubber build that goes down the left hand tree (Indomitable), before moving to the right to pick up lucky bullet. Go with whatever you like to be honest as your mostly a Bullgryn.

I can consistently top damage with achlys gunlugger in auric damn. It’s easier if your team isn’t ammo hungry.
