Scoreboard mod with an easy self install guide, no need to subscribe to NexusMods.
Yes I agree it's very stupid that this game doesn't have a scoreboard by default, but Fatshark thinks it apparently promotes "toxicity" so they dont want to add one.
The information the scoreboard gives is interesting, but it can trap players into the bad habit of running ahead and trying to deal as much damage as possible, or killing as many targets as possible.
And in this game (on higher difficulties) abandoning your team to seek glory is a great way to get everyone killed. XD
Stick together, share the resources, mark/eliminate problematic specials and you’ll do fine. :)
The only stat that really matters is “did the team successfully compete the mission.” However, a scoreboard can help fine-tune a build. Just don’t abandon your team to chase numbers. :P
* they couldn't be bothered to finish that feature
* are concerned people feelings might get hurt / "toxicity" / or...just used these as an excuse not to do the actual work required to implement the scoreboard.
They made the correct choice.
Just this. Like in vermintide if the waystalker runs ahead like a freaking maniac trying to kill everything alone end gets down.
