I agree, the numbers don't lie. 7k is excellent for this type of game; V2 has survived for 6 years now on 2kish. Not clear why you care though since you seem not to like the game? I like it and it has a thriving population, thanks for pointing that out!

would be nice to see some statements about where they intend to go from here. i am already beyond the fomo of grinding weeklies, checking the store, etc. i play a few ogryn rounds and get bored these days.

If you don't like DT, you don't have to play it. Me? I genuinely like the game and know that nothing lasts forever, so I'm enjoying it while i can. I certainly *hope* there's much more to come, but I'm not sure there is an expectation that that's the case. I paid $40 for 1800+ hours of entertainment. That seems like a crazy good deal to me, but "YMMV" which I finally figured out means "your mileage may vary"

Plenty of games have been running for years on lower player counts than that, they still make money so the servers are still up and people still play.

Loving DT so far, don't see myself getting bored any time soon. Then again, I play it 'cos I enjoy it, don't care about shinies, don't care about new stuff (all that much anyway). I like it because it's simply fun to drop in and blow stuff up.

To be fair, there are a few games that I play, put down for a bit,. then pick back up again..... depends largely on my mood. Doubt I'm unique in this tbh.

I agree, they've teased a lot with the voicelines it would be a shame to not see it happen. I want to see a lil ratling, a sister of battle, and the other things they mention that I forget. It would be a great joy.

Right now I'm trying to do some fun things with item builds, but ultimately my last bastion is going to be iron manning the classes.

1-30 and getting an item to level 550 without losing a run.

I think people will flock once they do another big release. I hope I stay with it for a while, I'm pretty much at 400+ hours its a great game.

Tbh, Microsoft have a PC Playerbase. Ironically some Console players play straight up better than some Steam ones. Although many on them seem to be on PC.
