They should arrive at some point, seeing as Fatshark has obviously paid for them for VT2 for a yearly event.
But Beasts of Nurgle are daemons too and they are in Darktide.
It actually is. The Darktide is in the lore, and demons were part of it.
Spoiler: The Ultramarines swoop in and save the day.
Seriously? Where are the Poxwalkers?
And nobody wants to fight nurglings. Nobody wants to fight a fast, irratic moving thing that is the size of a small pet monkey.
In Chaosbane they grab each other and roll at the player, even spinning each other around as blunt weapons then flying everywhere. It's funny stuff, they're great to fight against.
In Boltgun the Nurglings are a horrible menace, especially in large numbers at that Great Unclean One fight. Darktide definitely should not use that design.
Sorry to tell you this but you know the very lowest level of enemies? The first one you bludgeon with a shovel in the intro? The ones which make up the majority of every hoard?
Explicitly called a pox walker... okay "groaners" are the weakest, but pox walkers are still chaff.
I'd personally be up for nurglings. Its not like we dont have a range of fgull auto and AOE options. Perhaps if they by defauly made their own mini-hoards that would help keep them manageable... But tbh id love to see them even if they just ran about taunting you before running off and returned a small reward at the end of the mission if you shot enough of them.
lmao, yeah.
I meant plaguebearers.
Though if I was to attempt to make a guess, I would presume stuff like that is going to either be relegated for a third enemy faction to be released later, or just reserved for when things get from ♥♥♥♥ to even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
It's also kinda sorta suspect how strong our characters actually are because it's difficult to determine what's the result of "rule of cool"/game mechanics, and what's actually in at full power.
Because of all that, it's hard to know why certain enemies aren't in or what will ever be in.
We can barely take on "Demonhosts..." O_O"
What in Terra's green hills makes you think we can take on full blown demons?!
