Suspended for "WrongThink" on Fatshark forums

Fatshark. A disagreement and a civil discussion on the topic of Transexuality doesnt equate to transphobia because some butthurt people cant handle an opinion.

I got banned from darktide official discord 4 seconds after I said that I bought the premium hogwarts game edition, when everyone there was raging about how transphobic it is to even think about harry potter.

lol. How dare you. Whats crazy is that they havnt even givin me a time frame or anything which leads me to believe it is a permanent suspension. Which is heavy handed for an Account that has never had warnings or prior offenses. Its not like i am being a rampant d1ck all the time.

I am mind-boggled how the subject even came up in the forums for a game about killing heretics set in a dystopian fantasy...
Does the thread still exist or was the whole thing deleted? I'd actually like to see what led up to that topic.

"discord is fun" was the title of that forum discussion. And one of the discord mods had pronouns. So the topic cropped up. People said that those that dislike transexuals are ignorant etc etc And people should just set boundaries and leave. Well i told them that is not that simple. Because the type of laws that are being enacted ignore boundaries that society has established for a very long time because you have a person that identifies as the opposite sex. Making them naturally feel entitled to the same privileges that come with being that sex. That is despite not being a biological male or female respectively so people are going to naturally disagree with the entitlements.

Was super subtle. One of the Posters i was having the disagreement with even said i was eloquently mannered. Not a joke. They said paraphrasing "Just because you are eloquently mannered doesnt mean people are going to just submit defeat to what you are saying"

Best to avoid political/social commentary on gaming forums. Especially when the companies operate or are owned in multiple nations with vastly different ideas regarding "freedom of expression".

Biological sex and gender are not the same thing. They go hand-in-hand for the majority of cases but for some people it is different, which is why transgender people are transgender.

Also gender isn't something that can simply be taught or imposed on someone. Look into what John Money did to David Reimer. I'm not gonna go completely into to it here because it is a very heavy topic but it was pretty much the worst-case grooming scenario starting from the very birth of a biological male and he still ended up identifying as a man.
