Weapon swap times are so important at Dam and Auric

The more i play, the more Aurics and Damnations i run weapon swapping becomes more and more important to deal with threats from close and from range

Id love to play with other weapons but they take so long to equip it just becomes frustrating as im playing more against the game design than i am against the game

The IAGs are just so so convenient as they are quick swap, kill the threat, swap back to melee

Id love to use the heavy flamer more, but the equip and especially the right click just relegate it for me.

Id love weapon customising that changes how those stats work.

Doesnt break the GW tm, the weapon is still the same, but im tweaking the way it handles and equips.

Small changes like this would make this game even better.

A weapon tweak that makes the damage less but the equip faster, those kind of things

I think the equip time is supposed to be a balancing mechanic. I use the flamer a lot and its just about positioning really. Bolter similar concept. But then things like plasma exist and weapons like revolver which fill their role just as well as flamer/bolter fill theirs and they are super fast swaps.

Its funny when using buffs which rely on swaping weapons. Buff lasts 5 seconds. Weapon swap already takes 2.5 sec. Kekw. U get like 2 sec of effective buff in the end.

Would say like shnappy more about positioning and awareness and a bit of team work never hurts

ive noticed that the q or scrolling weapon swap is much faster than just pressing one or two when in the middle of animations

obviously an overlooked bug but it has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over so many times because i am just used to using 1 or 2 over q or scroll

nha you gotta spend the time doing a forward assist or some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to break up the flow of combat and make the game worse

I've noticed this too. I never switch weapons with any other buttons. A v2 friend started playing darktide and was having serious issues with weapon swapping. I told him about q and he said it makes a world of difference.

This is called 'heavy' weapon for a reason
