I dont know whats not to like
Yeah at least this engine had working ladders since the first Vermintide. Bethesda couldn't implement them until Starfield. 😁
How is this relevant to the topic?
It's just an example of how there are much worse engines out there. There are better ones too of course, and I agree that they should move to a better one for the next game in the series if at all possible. If the graphics get even more heavy that is.
If they instead manage to just optimize this current level of the engine, then doing another game of this fidelity with a much better performance would be okay.
Then something else is going on with your setup. I've 16gb, 4080 and a 3600 with a low end nvme. I get great performance. Also had reasonable performance with my 3080 ftw3 before that died on me a few months back.
Agreed, its something on his end as ive pretty much got the same rig and i get 70-80 FPS with everything on max, and RTX on
It makes no sense to me how the performance can be different on identical setups, the only thing I can think of is that some kind of internet issue is causing one setup to do some additional calculations, or they are missing some graphics setting and have 4k enabled or w/e, or maybe an anti-virus program in the background or something is screwing the processing up.
