Karnak twins event is dead to me

All i want is to beat the twins on damnation and get the weapon charm. Its impossible mainly because of those damn bells. EVERY SINGLE MISSION i go to, people want to do the bells just for us to die. The fight on damnation is already hard enough! i just want the damnation charm!

And most of us just want the hardmode charm.
Though It is starting to tickle me the wrong way spending 2 minutes loading etc for half the team to keel over within 30 seconds

On paper it seemed like a fun idea to introduce the hard mode like this but in reality it's just annoying to do in public lobbies. Same thing with trying to find people that are willing to do hard mode. Basically lobby simulator. I hope they add a special que.

You only get Insignia not weapon charm from it :)

Plenty of groups in official Discord looking for Hard Mode players. Just did it with three others from there.

I got perma'd from there at launch for trolling spammers, PUGs are all I got unfortunately

Yeah first day of the event I went in with a premade and got it done first try. The official discord as well has a bunch of skilled people who enjoy helping others. I would suggest LFGing there to anyone looking to complete it and Secret Harmode.

It's not a weapon charm, it's a portrait trinket which ceased to be rare one hour after the mission released, hard mode or not

All the rewards are insignia's which is kind of sad. Wish we got a frame for being hard mode since the insignia can only be seen in the lobby.

or face tank them while gun lugging, which continues to be a joke loadout but this fight really highlights it with a free ammo crate. refill ult on all the elites in the arena, hit both twins at once with your ult since Rinda will be spamming her sword for no damage in your face while the Achlys stubber prints toughness.

The damnation difficulty has a more difficult "secret" mode, absurd version, that can be triggered in a couple of ways using the bells on the map. It's easy to Google. I don't recommend it.

Easy, ask "no hard mode, right?" and if the answer is "yes", just leave (just like most ppl do when trying to do the hard mode, but on reverse). You´re welcome for the master class in sociology.
