Game Started to Stutter

I have not played for a while but after restarting it today, the game started to stutter. Be it on the mourningstar or during missions, i get these annoying micro stutters.
Is it a known issue or something specific to my pc/game?

I've got the issue as well.
I know it gotta be something with the new updates, because before the Traitor's curse patches, It's been fine.

Now, when in a mission, weapon switching will fail several times or I'll move with a stutter.

Thanks for the info, I was afraid the issue was on my side. Now I only can lean back and wait for a fix.

I'm also having a lot of micro stutters that weren't there before. Been fiddling with all sorts of settings but to no avail

I read on reddit that it may also be caused by the latest AMD drivers. Someone recommended to turn off anti-lag for the game, but I have not tested it yet.

Same here game ran smooth for so long seems the latest patch , i get some stutter (every 10- 15 seconds ) even in the mourning star...

The last patch seem to have fixed it or at least significatly reduced the stutter.

I am still getting slight stutters and I don't know why. Not as bad as before, but I am using Intel and NVIDIA

Are you using an AMD card? AMD released a driver update this month that causes stuttering in Darktide for some reason

I have an AMD card and was about to reinstall the previous drivers but luckily the latest patch fixed the issue.

Maybe disabling AMD anti lag helped too

ayyy, that's good to hear! I might download the current driver if that really is the case seeing as how I had to roll back to the November version to fix the stuttering. thanks for the info!

Same deal with the stutters, but I run NVIDIA. Got so bad I stopped playing, tbh—it's impossible to move around at the right pace to kill the Karnak Twins. I haven't launched the game in 5 days, so maybe the last update helped something. I'll try to get back to edit this if I notice a change.

Glad I am not the only one, I was getting really annoyed.

Getting the stutters with Nvidia, but its mostly just frame drops. I dropped from 120 frames to 14 today on damnation. this is on Dec 21, 2023

Another Update.

Seems like it was not the latest patch what helped, but disabling AMD anti-lag in the driver options.
With anti-lag on the game still has issues.
