Veteran talent : Is 10% rending better or 10% mele damage?
As the title says, I can only reach one of these two so I'm not sure what to take? I use a power sword in general so would rending or mele damage be better?

Both are mediocre at best but +10% melee damage is more useful in every situation.

Really? Reading stuff says Rending is pretty good, like doesn't it help -all- weapons do more damage and pierce through armour? Or is the info out of date? (its from like an article over a year ago)

10% rending is basically 10% to all damage so it's better

Rending is useless against everything that has no armor.

However, do you use your ranged weapon often (against armored targets) in your runs? If yes, rending talent is better than melee damage talent. So, it's situational, I guess

Its good, but not universal. On autoguns its amazing, on las weapons - useless. +10% wont make any difference. "Onslaught" is much better: not only it gives you more damage against armour (40 on max stacks), but its a team buff. Brittleness > rending.
