Bad graphics on high settings
Good afternoon

I want to ask, maybe you know a solution to the problem:
I just bought the game, I log in and see very bad graphics on high settings.
Disabling DLSS does not help, the picture remains the same fuzzy, but the image is covered with ripples.

My friend plays on the same settings, and his picture is sharp.
I literally can't see any small details.

I did not configure anything in the nvidia panel, the settings are indicated according to the 3d application.
I play on 2080 super

You need to enable sharpening from the settings.

Does not help. That's the thing - my friend and I have the same settings, but the graphics are very different.
His image is sharp, mine is soapy

Are you sure you are running on an appropriate resolution/scale for your screen? A mismatch can make things look fuzzy.

Certainly. That's the first thing I thought of.
Although visually very similar to 80% resolution scaling. But I didn't find such a setting.
And by the way, I’ll add that when choosing a character, I have a blurry halo around the character. We managed to find out that this is due to the “Depth of Field” setting. When I turned it off, it got better.
And my friend, with the same setting enabled, does not have this problem.

Did you disable the crappy lens filter options in settings?

No idea what you mean with ripples.

what resolution first of all?

try this first, use Geforce Experience ( I know I know, this is the one case it actually did some thing for me) and let it optimize darktide, it made some settings for me I would have never tried and it looks and runs amazing, I have a 3080ti

Absolutely clueless

Disable DoF

open the ini and disable display_noise and change screen scaling to 100%

I wish this game had better sharpening. I could get better results in Nvidia's control panel, but with a terrible side effect: ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up LODs.
First, remove all resolutions scaling, then add again the one is suitable for video card. And when switch from one to another, always forst turn off all, then add another
