took me forever because i play aggro as all hell as a veteran. your best bet is to look for a low intensity mission and just use infiltrate with the low profile modifier if you want to sweat for it chief.
relax, enjoy the game, don't think about the penance too much.
These days using stealth build to dump argro on your team whatever you think "damn I'm gonna take HP hit soon" is the easiest way aside from simply gitting gud.
Oh and the usual advise of play on low intensity, watch your back and watch out for melee specialist(doggo andd mutie) still apply.
How to do it now - maybe with stealth ability
This is pretty much the most viable solution, though it is still exponentially harder than it was with the old camo cloak.
Low intensity malice and making sure you do a lot of dodging and blocking if you get in melee. Dodge/Block the moment you hear the sound cue for an attack about to land.
Toughness perks are a bonus, and stay in coherency for the passive regen so if you do take a hit, you recharge back to full asap.
The only danger is taking a hit when you don't have 100% toughness, as that's when you take chip damage.
Got it myself when it felt like I did not get it, got melee'd by a shotgunner at the start so I kinda gave up on it, but I did not get hit at all to the rest of the mission. During the hacking event you can just stay upstairs and sit in one of the windows to still be useful and make it harder for enemies to reach you.
Went with stealth to drop aggro when things were difficult and on the last part of the mission be mindful about the vents that are around to not get hit by the pox walkers, save the stealth for when the monstrosity spawns in case it focuses you so you can drop aggro.
Any weapon of your choice, but I went with the recon lasgun to kill trash faster, but I can see bolter work too with the suppression it causes. Sadly there is no way to cheese this, unless you can get a friend or two to babysit you with crowd control weapons.
Yes, as far as i know toughness damage only should not count. But bugs are a thing. And i am not certain that my knowledge is up to date.
