Put a Cross + on the healing stimm
The current icon is confusing. I picked one up without reading what it was and was unsure what it did. A cross or + is universally recognised as 'healing 'in video-games, even in this game with the medkit (green glow AoE heal you put down like an ammo crate).

Some of the other icons could probably be changed too.

While I agree for the Med Stimm I think all the other 3 are completely fine

Couple of arrows in a row and blue -> be more quick

Skull symbol and red -> deal more damage

Spinning arrow and Yellow -> refresh your action skill cooldown

Seems to make sense to me (i'd maybe change the color of the celerity Stimm to be purple instead of yellow but I think the symbols are fine).

Its fine for Red Hypoctites to help with creation of literal concentration camps but dont you dare to use anything even close to their symbol in your games. No no no.

Just make it a blood drop symbol then. Easy peasy.

Cross is not only trademarked for health but also christian coded.

I like it the way it is. There wouldn't be crosses in the 40k creed

Ever tagged a Medicae station? Take a look next time.

I highly doubt that after 40.000 years or "just" even 10.000 years, anyone would make that connection.

A cross is already used for the medkits you carry in this (the one that goes in the same slot as ammo crate/scriptures/grims/etc). Everyone knows what it means. A cross is NOT trade marked. The current icon is confusing; a cross would be immediately identifiable.

might be a different cross but i'm pretty sure it's illegal under the geneva convention to use the symbol you're thinking of in stuff like games. it is universally recognized as a healing symbol and it has been used in a lot of games... that have systematically been forced to remove them cuz they're contacted by like the UN lol

Its not meant for healing though, its meant to recover a corrupted wound. It just does that by healing you. The icon is fine. When u know what it is for, the icon makes sense.

yeah, the symbol is the nurgle symbol with a cross going through it so the devs thought it's more accurate to show that u can get rid of corruption off of you, something first aid kits cant do without a specific talent

Cross is not trademarked. Red Cross on a white background is reserved for actual medical applications, and red cross the organization. But it would be rare for the to come after somebody for it's use. Plenty of media uses a cross to symbolize health.

i mean i would think it's rare because developers are better informed about it now maybe. they did contact the prison architect devs just a few years ago to make them stop using it

https://kotaku.com/video-games-arent-allowed-to-use-the-red-cross-symbol-1791265328

“The red cross emblem or similar designs are not general signs of ambulances, health care, first aid, the nursing or medical profession, or similar matters. Moreover, they are not signs to be used for commercial purposes, such as for advertising campaigns or on products.”

The Medicae symbol we have in game is not a cross. A cross is part of the design but its not a cross, its a stylized variation reminicent of the medicae symbol. Distinct enough not to run into copyright issues.

I recall Deep Rock Galactic had to change the red cross over their hub's medbay to a green cross. It's not the cross itself, just specifically a red cross. Which is fine, the med stim should be a green cross of some sort regardless. Or any sort of imperial insignia that signifies 'health' more than whatever it is now.
