which enemies have which kind of armor?
i need a LIST of which enemies have carapace and which have flak ect, because for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason the internet is absolutely allergic to this specific list, ive been googling for 20 minutes and article after article, reddit post after post talks about them, how to beat them, what weapons are best, ect and i cant stress enough how much i DONT give a ♥♥♥♥ about having a guide, i just need to know which is which , hoping that other people who are also wondering see this list here and hopefully it saves them the time ive wasted

appreciate this idk why this never popped up when lookin info up
Speaking of hitboxes who else is depressed at scab bomber no longer being flak armored all throughout. This is such a bad change for the majority of headshot focused weapons that just smash flak armor, no more one shots. So disappointed that I can blast shotgunners in one hit with the new las-magnum but not this guy, unless its a critical body shot. Gross!

Pretty much this. But tldr the armor types you are gonna run into is flak and unarmored. Carapace is only on the traitor ogryn and I think the head of the scab rager.

Carapace is basically all the Special Enemies that looked decked out in heavy Mad Max looking armor. Like the Mauler and Crusher. They are often the Scab variants of the regular unarmored special enemies.

This'll even tell you exactly what locations on each enemy are what damage type. One thing you might notice is that while the elites are fairly accurately implemented to what their model is showing, the specialists are largely very not. For example, you'll see the scab gunner has everything flak armoured except for the legs, and while the scab flamer is wearing almost exactly the same outfit, scab flamer is all maniac for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason known to nobody.

Likewise with the trapper and bomber, both of whom are wearing almost the same outfit as scab gunners, and more or less each other. The bomber is entirely flak armoured down to his bald unhelmeted head, and the identical legs that are implemented as unarmoured on the scab gunner, and the trapper is likewise implemented as entirely maniac despite obviously wearing much the same outfit as a scab gunner.

Obviously different individuals in the studio were tinkering with the database, and the damage locations for specialists were, to all appearances, all clumsily and sloppily copy-pasted with all the same damage location without regard for their in-game models, while the damage locations for standard enemies and elites were implemented correctly.

Scroll just a bit down and you'll see the hp/armor breakdown list. As far as the hp values go, the elites might not be 100% accurate since their hp was raised a tiny bit a few patches ago. Also it incorrectly lists gunners and flamers as specials when the game considers them elites (at least Empowered Psionics on psykers do). But it's close enough.

Gameslantern also has a list of perks and blessings for all weapons and curios, and a character builder.

and to see more info - you should press at every enemy separately
because some enemies could have different armors on different body parts.
I.e. Scab mauler: he has carapace on head and flak on everything else
