That's before some people will unfortunately have to enjoy yet again another fire shaded yellow ability making it practically useless to target things whilst trapped/ surrounded by flames.
They added garbage, nerfed everything good and didn’t actually address what the community complaints were for with the vet tree mainly it’s insane Length (seriously vet 66 slots compared to the next highest zealot that has 53 bloody 13 more) compared to the other classes and inability to actually make diverse builds with it.
Complete and utter detached from reality fatshark moment, it’s vermintide 2 all over again.
Kinda ironic Fatshark doing a fumble *again*
I didn't take it for the damage when I ran it since I wasn't expecting it to do much (even took the regen bonus). What did it in for me was that I absolutely could not see my own tag whereas at least I had a chance with the red tag.
What a reason to take that trash working talents if you can at least be usefull for the team overall.
Class was ruined with the introduction of skill trees and the keystones have not improved the situation. They need to start completely over and base the trees on a Scion (even higher ammo capacity weapons and intensity of fire superiority) Commisar (middle tree can stay) and the obligatory Catachan stealth melee tree.
The idea of a "sharpshooter" is not something that exists in the Guard doctrine. Guard are garbage throw away troops who rely on blasting massive amounts of firepower at the enemy to achieve victory. Snipers are Tau ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, not Guard.
I've swapped around all my weapons to try different things from the Helbore to the Headhunters and even the Boltgun, Plasma Gun, and the Autopistol and Laspistol. Perhaps we aren't building according to FS's teams' ideas of how to play the game.
However, I did have success with the center build going all support (Close Order with Charismatic, Survivalist, Field Improv, Voice with D&H, FTE) with focus target and target down. It did make the team, if I stayed near them and they stayed near me, kind of unkillable.
Literally no scoped weapons
No sniper rifles
Only one weapon type even have a holo sight at best.
I think the peak hilarity is the image above what is supposed to be the single shot weapons sharpshooter side of the tree is a guy with a belt fed lmg.
Fatshark are just amazingly mentally handicapped at points, their decision making is incomprehensible.
There most certainly are sharpshooters/snipers. pls learn the lore.
All of the complaining I've seen seems to boil down to: "I want to have maximum ranged damage against everything, whilst having full toughness and maximum melee damage! What do you mean specialisation?"
Yeah they're called Vindicare assassins, ratlings and a small squad of very specific characters from the books lol. IE: not part of standard Guard doctrine.
I agree it could be a bit shorter and the pathways are a little restrictive.
Ultimately just forces people to pick a playstyle though instead of everyone running "generic guardsman that's great at everything".
