That is completely normal even with games that actively support mods.

You would think that if you knew how to install a mod you would also know that major game updates usually break mod compatibility for a while until the authors update them.

I just spoke to Fatshark, they said they're really sorry about breaking your mods. To rectify this they've cancelled all future content plans and have ceased fixing bugs.
