Red "Veteran" Gear (Fatshark & Darktide)

Hoping Fatshark adds Red "Veteran" weapons and items to Darktide like in Vermintide 2. That would be epic!

They decided against it as it would diminish the grind time you have to spend to get good rolls.

That dosen't make sense- most Orange weapon rolls are "very" similar

Don't know If Veteran gear makes sense. Those items should be called "Relic" gear.
And you should not be able to craft them. You should only be able to aquire them as mission rewards by doing Auric Maelstrom missions.

No you should only be able to buy them with Aquilas. that'd make sense.

Orange as rewards are also mostly junk or for blessing farming. You generally get better tiered weapons by buying a bunch of high level grays then upgrading to Orange..

Which is intentional. FS wants this game to be grindy. It's why they tried keeping everything as close to the release as possible despite a lot of backlash over how crafting and loot farming was handled.

i mean Relic will make logic but still Red items have to become a thing and i not saying this for vetran only for everyone you can only gain them in missions and you can crap them for Relic Red parts that you can then craft a weapon to your liking to RED or something but you cant just do that in 1 go you need like 50 parts to craft 1 RED weapon so it puts a grind into it or a little bit less deppens on what they will do with the % drop rate

as in vermintide 2 you cant even get RED DLC weapons since you needed to scrap old ones to upgrade those to red and it taked like 5 RED dust to do if i remember

but i wont lie CHAOS WASTE dit make the RED gear easyer to get but CHAOS waste is alot fun too

but i do think this game needs RED items as well since there just something of satisfaction when you GRINDED so hard on a class you love to finaly have that RED weapon that you love finaly been given to your hands and get your perfect build closer to that goal nofing beats that feeling like vermintide 2 dit
