Character Respec Question

Sorry, newb question here.

So after a long break from this game I played it again tonight and noticed they've over-hauled how character specs work.

Can you respec characters after you've invested your character points?
Are respecs free? Or is there some grind-mechanic to unlock the ability to respec points?

Any information would be hugely appreciated. Thank you! :)

You can Change all Your Skillpoints at any Time You Wish by either Right Clicking on the Skill You want to Remove. (Needs to First Remove all Skills which Depend on that one) Or by just Resetting the whole Skilltree and Starting from Scratch.


You can Also Save any Skillbuild You make by Pressing the little Plus Sign on the Upper Right Corner of the Screen.

Yes, you can respec as much as you want and it's free.

Like it says on the bottom right of the screen, press E to respec.

You can also change one node at a time by right clicking them to free em up one point at a time, but you need to start at the bottom and work your way back up that way. It's a good option if you just want to change the last few perks around or a few optional ones midway through a few of the trees though.

I just press E and start over when setting up builds for different loadouts though.

I am at work and yet to try it out, can you change skills inside a mission or only in the safe zones?

You can't change skills inside a mission only in a lobby before the mission start

Tell me you did not read anything when going onto your talent tree without telling me you did not read anything when going to your talent tree, there are 3 tutorial screens that pop up when going to it that give you every single answer for what you just asked.

Wargear Sets are limited to 5 per operative.
