Take a look at the symbol next to their name. I almost guarantee you that these players have a globe symbol and not a steam crank, ie: Xbox players.
They are actively ruining the game with their stupidity. A friend of mine uninstalled the game yesterday in a fit of rage after two idiots played so badly, it can basically count as actively sabotaging a run. I'd be less butthurt if they were new, but they were both lvl 30. Meaning they ruined a lot of people's runs. Because killing anything they certainly did not.
inb4: just carry bro!
Carrying has never been an excuse for bad players and never will be.
That’s why everyone wanted an option to turn crossplay off so then we don’t have to play with those players again. Just about every corner you’ll always see them like there’s no escape. Maybe not everyone wants to carry every single game with those globe players.
Overall, you nailed the points. Hopefully the devs finally listen and implement such an option like that. There are already other Co-Op games out there that either have the option or run a different version from its console version (e.g. Deep Rock Galactic with their Steam and Microsoft/Xbox versions).
remember folks - you're not fit for damnation and it's ok. play a lower difficulty, there's no shame in that.
Leave new players alone.
We want more and new players.
If any new players joining and need help lets group up and we will teach you whatever you need Welcome
Like I've said many times, Level 30 players, playing T5, these people are NOT new players. Also I've also said many times that new doesn't mean stupid, you can be brand new to games all together and common sense should tell you not to set off the big scary thing, blow your team up with explosives.
Anyone who says that new people won't know these things are either deranged or haven't read anything previous in this post.
New DOESN'T mean stupid, you can be bad at a game and that's fine but making stupid decisions that screw your team over is something else, if you're around level 30 and doing T5 then you should know even the basics.
On top of that, if someone is clearly struggling then they shouldn't be playing at higher difficulties since it just ruins the game for everyone else they join.
What kind of question even is that? If they are struggling on T5 then how will they learn playing it? They are often going down or struggling through the entire thing leaving little room to learn, they play a difficulty down then they should still struggle even if it's a bit, you play that until you get better, then you play that more to test yourself if you make the decision that you're ready to move up, if you struggle quite a lot during that phase still then clearly you're not ready.
Again, going up too early just ruins it for everyone else.
another one had both melee players run forward and ignore the player that was downed, I try pick her up (as veteran) assuming I was covered then they just leave me to get knocked off the edge with her and call the party dumb when they wipe.
