Flawless execution tips?

So I got the on Overwatch duty achievement to not get melee hit for the entire mission which took me about 1-2 hours to do. But now I want to do the rarest darktide achievement which is to not get downed at all in 10 missions at a row in malice difficulty or higher.

I am thinking of using an infiltration veteran and play selfishly for the most part, or maybe as an Ogryn with the shield and mace, and do some sort of taunt / unblockable build or something like that.

I feel like the achievement is not as hard as it seems, but it also does depend on luck.

Another thing is, what counts as being downed? Do pox hounds / mutants count as you being downed or not does anyone know? Or is it only when your HP drops to 0?

Going down to 0 HP or dying outright by being thrown out of the map. Joining a game already in progress does not count towards the count of completed games but if you go down, it will break the spree you're on.

I see, thanks! I was thinking that if I get pinned down by a pox hound or a mutant it was game over for the achievement so i was doing my best to literally avoid them like the plague, same with any other mechanic that eats you up (Talking about you, Nurgle beast...)

ogryn, shield, bleed talents. look for low intensity missions and levels without large lines of sight. i did mine all the way to the 15 mission mark for the 3rd level penance and the closest calls i had were from snipers.

yeah i did it as ogryn and i wasn't even going for it. left tree bleeder lots of heavy melee attacks
