Block efficiency vs stamina regen on zealot?
For weapons that is worth spamming push attack like the new crusher or evisc, sometimes you block a hit from behind wih low stam and you get destroyed
Also for bosses like demonhosts or chaos spawns, even with good dodges i get chipped if a spawn wants to do the same move 3 times in a row, what lets you tank better? Im asking bc is not free like before

I use +3 stamina and other two are 20% max HP, Block efficiency I have on all curios, along with stamina regen, third option is whatever I can get thats good, sniper resist and gunner resist are good since those are going to be your main threat when it happens.

Even with + wounds you still want both stamina regen and Bock efficiency as perks you can have + Wounds and Block efficiency and Stam regen and Gunner resistance for eg.

Here is more info on stamina regen.

But if you have to choose i would prioritize block efficiency since its going to benefit you more when you need it and stam regen is going to be less noticeable is mostly useful for regaining more stam fast enough to block heavier attacks sooner but efficiency is on all the time.

Really it depends on your weapon you use and scenario you want to help yourself in the most.

Don't forget that pushing and running also consume stamina. Stamina regen tends to not be very hard to get value out of, especially on Zealot.

If you can weave dodges and block push appropriately, stamina regen is king.

If you sit there and actually spend a lot of time blocking, block efficency is your go to.

Stamina regen is ultimately better but if you don't want the other things you could build for (like HP or Toughness or Ability Recharge) take both. For shield ogryn you absolutely should take block and stam on all curios for your build if you are focused on actually blocking. You can tank a gunner unloading on you for a frankly ludicrous amount of time with 4x block efficiency and can block 3-4 gunners for about 2 seconds which may sound like not a lot but that is more than enough for a teammate to start taking them out which will further increase your block time.

Importantly: block efficiency does seem to work for kinetic deflection since it calculates based on the stamina it would have cost you to block so block effeminacy is quite good if not essential on psyker builds that use kinetic deflection.

I personally recommend everyone to have at least one tier 4 block efficiency on their build and run 3 stamina recovery. I just save any curio that rolls a decent main stat and has tier 3 or 4 stamina or block or already.

Stamina Efficiency, Stripped Down for Ranged Immunity during Sprints, and spam Crusher Alt-Fire Explosion until clear.

Maybe no one agrees, but this has never failed me even before the class overhaul where it wasn't nearly as easy. I run almost exclusively Aurics with this nonsense. I have never blocked in my life. Emperor protects.
