Why it should be?
Way outside the scope of this game and not reproducable by the game either.
There is no point for a Vindicare, because you are not laying 10km away from your target to fire your special bullets that ignore the curvature of the planet.
You are not going to play a drugged up suicide bomber, dropped in from space, in form of the Eversor... There is no point in the infiltration skills of a Callidus, where you impersonate some random Heretic to get close to one of the Heretic leaders. And Culexus have no reason to even be in this theatre, given that we haven't even encountered any Psykers among the enemy. Even the Demonhost doesn't seem to be a Psyker.
i think its the 'professional' veteran who mentions that 'one us might even be a callidus and none of us would have any way of knowing'
In one of the Darnath Lysander books only Eversor was able to fight on par with a monster of AM genetic experiments, and weaken it enough by suiciding, for Darnath to kill it. A company of space marines and 2 other assassins failed miserably in a previous confrontation.
Idk, never say never, especially when it could mean expanding on the gameplay potential of variability with gameplay? Perhaps there could be special sanctioned missions, enabling a class type to be employed? That you get to play as an Ogryn, which works fantastically in my opinion, opens up some leeway I would think to some other player class types.
The Eversor (my personal fav) is a pure jacked up brute focused on melee (or anything within arms reach) and has the ability to go full rage mode with a special gear that provides debuffs to enemies in the immediate area. Would pair just fine along the Ogryn class albeit enjoy a more focused melee approach.
Culexis could employ debuffs such as remove enemy targeting and or effectively go invisible for a time with a high damage single character special.
Callidus would specialize in Damage over Time effects benefiting from the schools advanced training on exotic weapons, including those lethal to offspring of Nurgle.
Yes, the Vindicare would indeed be an outlier in the games play style but nothing outrageous. Could have some wicked one-shot rifles I don't know
This was a half-serious idea meant to explore the potential of some other classes, nothing more. Take it with a grain of salt.
It could be done in the right scope...Special Inquisition High clearance missions or something of that effect.
Bottom line, I just want to be a crazy Eversor someday whenever that happens. Still love the game, make no mistake.
Not about dour pragmatism, but more about expanding possibilities if possible, theoretically.
Not even kind of ever.
The highest class FS said they will make is veteran sergeant, and you're asking for characters that have killed Primarchs.
Think before post. read before post.
