MORE DAKKA!
I love the Stubber.. You can never have enough dakka! But I can't decide which one to use, they're all great!

Which one is your favorite? Krourk, Gorgon or Achlys?

Every person I have spoken to since the patch favors the Gorgonum.

The Krourk has been, and continues to be, inherently inaccurate. So whenever that's the case, the initial bullets matter, and the Gorgonum makes those bullets hit harder. It's also more accurate, so no wonder people like it. Even those who refuse the Krourk/Achlys are inaccurate favors the Gorgonum for those very reasons.

The only thing I like about the Achlys is the quick-draw. It's impressively fast to draw and brace. But the accuracy and dmg is horrible. :)

I love the new heavy dakka. And the new heavy club. They make the most satisfying krumping noises.

The Gorgon has great damage and accuracy but has low ammo capacity and rate of fire, it's great for taking down specials but not so much shooters because you can't interrupt them fast enough from shooting back at you.

It's a good dakka but it doesn't feel as satisfying to use as the Krourk or Achlys to me, it's just way too much fun spraying bullets with those when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan haha

Achyls with Flak isn't so bad, still didn't get anywhere near enough ammo. The flak mod of Stubbers should be better in general but it really hurts that one. They didn't dumpster maniac or unyielding that bad vs default so its fun to kill those.

But yeah Gorgotron is actually good in the scheme of Ogryn weapons and possibly even something other characters would want, finally. Like imagine how dumb it would be on a vet.

G-Stubber > K-Stubber > A-Stubber

I really wish the K-Stubber was better as it's the only 550 weapon I have and it still kinda sucks. At least the G-Stubber is basically the Ogryn analog to a braced autogun more or less.

Gorgonum Mk IV for me. Got a fairly decent roll of 366, but managed to get both damage vs flak and unyielding as base perks. The low RoF gives it quite high accuracy. Been running it with a Mk II club and the combo gives me the versatility I feel that I've been missing (most of that thanks to the Gorgonum stubber).

The Gorgonum for sure. I think the Achlys is interesting but how can I turn down a weapon that sounds acts and feels like an old AA Gun?

If I got my hands on a good achylis roll I'd want flak, crit, roaring advance, and charmed to give it a proper run.

it strikes me as a suppression delivery service for moving into rooms with lots of gunners, you can quickly spray the whole room while choosing where to start chopping or thumping.

I might as be really good with the +power when hitting the same target with unyeilding, and test it against the boss shield and monstrosities.

it's got potential, we just have to find what niche it fills like all our weapons.

The Stubber situation is disappointing. Here the Ogryn has a weapon that can shoot full auto longer than any other weapon in the game, but full auto is ironically ineffective unless enemies are touching the barrel.

And this boils down to two types of Stubber players:
1. The people who are tapping the fire button, which doesn't give the satisfaction of using a full auto machinegun, and quite frankly reduces the dps noticeably for some gained ammo economy that's ultimately unnecessary.
2. The people who don't mind shooting full auto, wasting ammo to make sound, hitting little. Unpopular among teammates.

People are flocking to the Gorgonum since it has alleviated part of the problem, but that doesn't help the Krourk/Achlys. And walking around doing 2-round bursts with the Gorgonum is an incredibly unsatisfying playstyle for a machinegun.

For what it's worth I've been making use of, at most, 3 second bursts with the Gorgonum. Enough to put everything in cover, possibly pop a couple shooters, and ensures I'm not just mag dumping into a few dregs.
That's Ogryn in general though, he doesn't get to actually dakka despite having an entire kit of spraying or not aiming weapons (minus plinking with the GLs). You start to let rounds fly with Rippers or Stubbers and it just doesn't cooperate. You need to brace to hit anything.

And then for whatever reason Gorgon just works on M1, and M2 just zooms and gives you more range. I would honestly use the other Stubbers a ton if they could do this too. Rippers I find pretty good to use but the terrible M1 still bothers me.

Everyone is going to tell you that the achyls stubber sucks, but in reality it's the ogryn version of a shreddeer auto pistol, it's very accurate for headshots and it's quit fun to use.

The low range on it does suck though. I prefer the Gorgonum for the better penetration and range so I can save us all when long range enemies have downed the actual snipers in the group, which is a situation that can often happen(Psyker & Veteran go down, the fourth is a flamer Zealot)

It says short ranged but it has the same as the Krourk somehow? Or is my displayed Range incorrect?
Edit: I Just checked and the falloff modifier is what lowers the damage on the Achlys against anything but unarmored faster then in the Krourk. It still has the range but the damage gets quite low at some point.
Anyways, I am lucky enough to have all 3 versions > 372 base +t3/4 Perk +t3/4 blessings, so I cycle between them for fun.
The only thing I dislike about them currently is blaze away stacking way too slow and falling off way too fast. On the Gorgon it is better to use something else. Gorgon also does not need charmed reload.

Exactly, with the achyls you dont have to take pauses with the dakka to reset recoil bloom, you can just keep shooting and it's deadly accurate tho admittedly short range.
