need help with mods (resolved)

Hi all, I'm struggling so much with installing the nexus mods, there is maybe someone so kind to help me?

Download manually...
1. Framework
2. Loader

They both have a description how to install them. Basically extract the mod loader into your base darktide folder. Every other mod goes into mods folder.

Then edit the text file mod_load_order.txt and add the folder names (just copy and paste) to the end of the file. This is not needed for the mod framework and loader folders. Just everything else! Each name in a new row. Some need a specific order but that is described for each mod.

Then execute toggle_darktide_mods.bat and start your game. You can see your mods when you press f4

it's possible that you might have to join the DT modding discord to get the updated mod loader, but this guide was updated 2 days ago from now so it might be good to go already. and some mods make the game crash very often, so you'll probably have to experiment and see what causes issues and what doesn't.

I followed all the steps of the voice installation but the game crushes on launch, am I missing something?
The only thing odd for me is that when i copy the files in my game folder there is no replacemennt from the filesin the list, it is a clean copy and paste and on ne xusmods it is written that some files should replace others...

Oh, so Darktide has mod support now? Interesting. I checked the Nexus, but the modding framework there is... quite "manual". Is there a mod loader/manager available that uses some kind of graphical UI? Or am I doing something wrong?

On a clean install nothing is replaced.

i don t even install any mods simply after step 5 launching the game it crashes...

Actually with new patch you shouldn't be modding anything right now from scratch, wait a week til the relevant mods are updated.

Try this:

Go to your mod folder
& mod_load_order.txt.

Copy all mod names besides
ui_extension
&
animation_events
to another(!) text file of you choosing (that's just a backup).

Now DELETE all mod names(!) in mod_load_order.txt
besides
ui_extension
&
animation_events.

Try and see if it run now.

IF it does, add one mod name AFTER the other and check them ONE by ONE!

thank you very much but it crushes already with the mod loader so at the first steps without any mods....
