Middle of a horde and a SV Patrol all of a sudden comes around a corner (or just materialises directly in-front of you). Now you're fighting for your life against 40 angry armored rat-bastards, as well as a hundred small-fry rat-bastards. SV Patrols were the best.

Technically they still exist. You see patrols going past in certain maps and engaging them causes squads to spawn. Just there's not really an equivalent of Stormvermin in game to engage.

Yeah. They usually use few gunners and normal shooters. That being said they can be deadly if aggroed during horde.

there are packs of 5 or so Crushers on Damnation.

Mauler is the equivalent of the Mauler lmao.

Both have super (carapace) armor on the head and very high HP average to most enemies. DT Mauler just has flak armor instead of no armor on the rest of his body.

I say add shield Elites that aren't the Ogryn. Make them block melee attacks, but still be susceptible to all guns, since they'd be much thinner shields than the Ogryn shield. Shielded SV in VT could also be shot through their shields with certain weapons.

That's why decided to add that new thing were they throw at you 4000 hit-scanning unavoidable dogs that can down your entire team in less than 1 second.

We need passive elite spawns with hordes like in vt2
